Inspired by its location in this unique border area, our chef combines influences from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany in dishes that embrace the character of the region. Expect locally sourced ingredients such as regional cheeses, Livar pork, Limburg’s cloister pig, and the finest wines from the area, like those from St. Martinus. From appetizer to dessert, everything is prepared with care and passion. All of this is served in a charming setting with a view of the historic Oude Watermolen. Kasteel Vaalsbroek is located on an 18-hectare estate, nestled at the heart of the picturesque rolling hills of Vaals. The hotel offers the ideal mix of relaxation, urban inspiration and rural peace, all at the highest level.
OPENING TIMES: Mon to Fri: 7.00 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. and Sat & Sun: 8.00 a.m. - 11.00 a.m.
A generous breakfast buffet is served in the castle every day. It includes freshly baked breads, fruit juices and various breakfast cereals. In De Kruidentuin, you can also enjoy luxury buffets at weekends and in holiday periods.
OPENING TIMES: 11.00 p.m. - 1.00 a.m.
Enjoy a snack and drink from our menu in the welcoming bar-bistro located next to the restaurant. In summer, you can soak up the sun on the bistro terrace along the beautiful Kasteelvijver. The kitchen closes at 9.30 p.m.

The generous Castle Dinner in the historic rooms of the Kasteel Vaalsbroek will make you feel as if you have been transported back into the 18th century. The Castle Dinner is a three-course dinner (€42.50 per person), with the starter and dessert in buffet form.
