You may check in at Castle Vaalsbroek from 2.30 p.m. each day. But don’t worry if you need to arrive earlier. If your room isn’t ready yet, we will be happy to store your luggage for you. Your reservation is guaranteed until 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive later, we would like to receive a notification.
You may use your room until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Wish to check out at a later time? This is possible for a fee, provided the room is available. Please contact the hotel regarding this option.
Free parking is available in the car park at the hotel.
Castle Vaalsbroek has ten charging stations for electric vehicles.
Castle Vaalsbroek is accessible by public transport. From 'Maastricht' train station, take bus 350 in the direction of 'Aachen Centrum'. Get off at the 'Mamelis' bus stop and take bus 59 in the direction of 'Vaals'. Get off at the 'Vaalsbroek' bus stop. From this stop, it takes a minute to walk to the hotel.
As a guest of Castle Vaalsbroek, you are welcome to use our fitness facilities, which includes stationary cycles, elliptical trainers, rowers, treadmills and various training equipments with weights. The fitness room is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
As a guest of Castle Vaalsbroek, you are welcome to use our wellness facilities. The sauna and swimming pool are freely accessible from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please note that bathing attire is required in the pool as well as the sauna. Stop by our Wellness Centre for luxurious facials, massages, a manicure or pedicure or various body wraps. The Wellness Centre is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Treatments are exclusively based on reservation.

You will be sent an e-mail confirming your reservation. You will pay upon your arrival at the hotel (except if you book at the special Value rate, which requires a credit card deposit).
It is possible to make changes to your reservation online. At the bottom of the confirmation e-mail you received for your reservation, you will find a button marked ‘change my reservation’. Clicking this button will direct you to the booking page, where you can adjust your reservation. We are, of course, also happy to offer you individual help by e-mail or over the phone.
The total cost of your reservation consists of the costs of your stay plus a service charge and a tourist tax. The service charge applies to all guests of age 12 and older and is a standard fee of € 3.75 per person per night. The tourist tax is set by the relevant municipal authorities and will therefore differ from one hotel to the next.
Cancellation is at no charge up to 48 hours before arrival unless stated otherwise.
You no longer need to compare, you will receive the best price for your stay via the Bilderberg website and you will receive a discount on Bilderberg's extensive breakfast. Moreover, you have a choice of all room types that are available at the hotel. For example, choose a deluxe room with balcony or terrace or a junior suite.
Yes, children are more than welcome at Castle Vaalsbroek. It is possible to place an extra (children's) bed in various rooms. When you book a room with breakfast, for children 11 years or under you only pay for the extra (children’s) bed. Learn more.
Yes, Castle Vaalsbroek has family rooms with connecting doors and serveral spacious suites with a seperate room where a sofa bed is placed.
Children with the age 11 and under stay for free when you book an overnight stay including breakfast. In that case, you will pay only the fees for the use of an additional crib or bed. For package deals that include dinner or other extra amenities, a reduced rate will apply to children.
It is possible to put the invoice of your stay in the name of the company. Please mention this when making the reservation. Are you not making the reservation yourself? Then we ask you to inform us when you arrive at the hotel.
There is no loyalty programme for business guests.

In a meeting room, you will find: two flip charts, a beamer with screen and a conference box. In the conference box, we have useful items for the meeting: post-its, markers, name tags, scrap paper and more.
The following meeting rooms in Kasteel Vaalsbroek are air-conditioned; Moretti Pavilion, Boardrooms 1 and 2, Eschbergzaal, Schuttebergzaal, Bongerdzaal, Harleskamer. In addition, the Vaalsbroekerhof has top cooling.

Dogs are welcome to stay at Castle Vaalsbroek for an added fee of € 35,00 per dog (with a maximum of two dogs per room). Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant nor the wellness.
Castle Vaalsbroek has a comfortable disabled-friendly room with terrace. The spacious room is easily accessible and has a weelchair-friendly bathroom with a shower with support brackets. Furthermore, the hotel has a lift.
Because we are eager to ensure a pleasant experience for every guest, we make it a priority to accommodate their wishes/requirements whenever possible. If you inform us of your wishes in advance, we can let you know what is possible.
Breakfast is served in our restaurant from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the weekends.
Lunch is served daily in the bar/bistro from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Restaurant 'In De Oude Watermolen' offers dinner daily from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
Castle Vaalsbroek does not have air-conditioned rooms.
It is possible to rent bicycles at the hotel. The costs are € 15,00 per day per bike. It is also possible to rent electric bicycles for € 27,50 per day per bike. We recommend making a reservation in advance.

This depends on which hotel you are staying at. Castle Vaalsbroek does not accept nationalwide gift cards, such as a VVV cadeaukaart.
