In 1891, Pellegrino Artusi published his book 'Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well', inspired by his journey through his homeland, Italy. During his travels, he described recipes, Italian customs, the language, and the people he met. Now, over 130 years later, his book is the foundation for Trattoria Artusi, where you are taken on a flavorful journey through Italy.
This journey begins with the restaurant itself. You will recognize the flooring from the Marche region, the wine cabinets from Tuscany, and the paintings depicting Italian life. Our chefs draw inspiration from the master Artusi himself. Fine dining the Italian way. Cooking without borders, using the best ingredients, often from our own region.

"What fascinates me about Pellegrino Artusi is his passion for flavor. He traveled all over Italy to taste regional dishes and write about them. And not in a standard cookbook, but in a collection of stories full of humor."
