Inspired by his journey through Italy, Pellegrino Artusi published his book 'The Science of Cooking and the Art of Eating Well'. His book is the foundation for Trattoria Artusi. You will recognize the floor from the Marche region, the wine cabinets from Tuscany, and the paintings depicting Italian life. Our chefs draw inspiration from the master Artusi himself. Fine dining Italian style.
In 1891, Pellegrino Artusi published his book 'The Science of Cooking and the Art of Eating Well', inspired by his journey through his homeland, Italy. During his travels, he described recipes, Italian customs, the language, and the people he met. Now, over 130 years later, his book is the basis for Trattoria Artusi, where you are taken on a flavorful journey through Italy.

Reviews Trattoria Artusi and Julia's Kitchen
The warm welcome stands out
"We had a wonderful evening, especially the warm welcome stood out. The food was good, we went for the chef's menu, which is also very affordable!"
Eccellente mangiato...
"Excellent food indeed. On a Monday night we ate Italian at this restaurant, we stayed at the Bilderberg hotel. Despite the Monday evening a reasonable occupancy. Friendly, passionate hostess, open and interested in her guests. Excellent starter of different hams, portobello's, shrimps etc. Main course: rib-eye marinated and grilled in Italian herbs. Good portions and very good red wine. The atmosphere was great, the ambiance excellent. Cozy decor, no pizza states. Nicely set tables with fine glassware. And again with an experienced restaurant employee; nice to have at your table. Excellent dessert and a good cappuccino. In short: good choice."
Great!
"We were with 8 people and unexpectedly arrived on Saturday evening without a reservation (we had it at another restaurant that turned out to be closed). That was no problem. They asked for 5 minutes to set a table for 8 people, within 5 minutes we had a perfect table. Delicious food, top service, in short: a great location. Julia's Kitchen, you saved our annual night out. Thank you!"
